The one (and only) time I even made key lime pie I couldn't find key lime juice so I had to buy a bag of the little limes. They must have been pretty old or something because they wouldn't juice very well. Having no proper kitchen tools I ended up having to squeeze the juice out of each lime (must have been 20 of them at least) with my teeth. I'd seen someone do it on the food network once and it looked kind of cool, or so I thought. After juicing all those stupid limes my lips were on fire and I had a bitter taste in my mouth for hours. At least the pie tasted good (once my taste buds grew back).
