i just purchased an 3200. dd-wrt runs well on it. i'm happy with the purchase. target has them for $109.

i was able to stream a 1080p movie over wifi through several walls and about 40 feet last night. i was surprised.

i know what i'm doing, and it's the simplest solution. my original post was directed at the people in here that were posting about apple machines getting hot means you're doing something wrong. not really looking for advice. but, thanks for the input. have an upvote for not being a blind fanboy and actually doling out some real world knowledge.

when you power it on and hold down the up volume button do you get to the boot loader screen? Does it tell you unlocked s-on?

Edit: sorry hold volume down button when powering on. Not up.

i gave my 2009 mbp 13" to my gf when i picked up a 2011 air. what she ended up with was a c2d system with 8gb of ram and a 500gb hybrid drive. it's really nice. she uses it for work sometimes...that work requires her to use internet explorer. so, we have lion running and vmware fusion virtualizing win7 with a bit of a load. IT GETS FUCKING HOT. are we doing something wrong? you tell me.

for me, i think my favorite guitar work is on careful with that axe, eugene. right after the scream there is some furious music making and some really beautiful guitar tone.

i like the guitar work on animals, also...but, i find it very dry and almost a shrill tone at times. not really quintessential david gilmour, imo.

yeah. more like drunk and bored. these guys were not as into drugs as people tend to think.

also, nick mason was not much of a drummer. he did what was necessary, but he's not one of the more "talented" of the major rock acts ever.

pink floyd's rhythm section was pretty lackluster, really.
