Why don't you look up what Semite means and add Anti in front of it? If you look up the origins of the word it came from an Austrian man, so it started out in the german language. How many people in America know what a Semite is? This word was hijacked just like how when we think of the holocaust in America we only think of Jewish suffering, and i'm not downplaying their suffering but how often do we read books about gypsies suffering, soviets, poles, etc. We don't in elementary school or middle school. This has been turned into an industry and you know damn well if you say something against Israel in public you are condemned but it's perfectly okay to say "lets bomb Iran because they are terrorists." If an American politician said lets withdraw our support monetarily from Israel then they would be branded an anti-Semite, look at Ron Paul. Whether it is a consensual definition or not doesn't make it right. If you are Anti-American then do you not dislike America or does it mean you hate christians? This definition of "anti-antisemitism" defies logic, i know it is hard for people to understand this though. The proper term should be anti-jewish.

If you say something against israel or how they do their business you are branded an Anti-semite and this usually means no reelection or forced to resign. This is untrue. Not all middle eastern countries dislike Iran. They have a lot of supporters in Iraq, Lebanon (most Maronite Catholics and all Shi'ite) , and some parts of Syria as well. Israel wants the Sunni's and Shi'ites to fight amongst themselves so they got us into shit like the Iraqi war to destabilize the region.

As long as these countries are fighting amongst themselves they can never make a strong opposition to Israeli's oppression in the region. Iran is the counter-balance to Saudi Arabia. Stop calling Hezbollah a terrorist group. You know who created Hezbollah? Israel did. You know why Hezbollah has power now? Because they were able to defeat Israel in the 2006 war when Israel bombed civilian targets (like the airport) and so on. How do you consider Hezbollah a terrorist group when they defend their own nation? Sure they send some little rockets into Israel every now and then but Israel has fucked with Lebanon since their creation. Israel wants to move all the Palestinian refugees they kicked out into there and create their Jewish state while Lebanon and surrounding countries have to pick up the pieces. Lets just face it. US foreign policy does not benefit from helping Israel and hasn't since the end of the Cold War. The Reason we backed Israel in the first place was because of Egypt and the Soviet Union's ties with them. If the USA just stopped backing Israel up on everything and just abstained from voting on Human Rights violations and Palestine becoming sovereign then animosity against the United States in the middle east would be little. As long as we keep sticking our necks out to defend Israel and attack for Israel then we will never have peace in the middle east.
