So when River says they are back to front, she means that in a general way. Just find a local occupational diving school and go chat with them about career opportunities. It's pretty high-paying work, although ti does have a fairly high mortality rate. A lot of those other people are mechanics and engineers that work on dams, telescopes, electric grids, etc. You get those jobs by studying that field, gathering relevant experience, and then applying. Just like any other job.
