Also - FWIW - weigh yourself before the race and as soon after as possible. Just for the heck of it . . . . I usually lose 3 - 5 pounds after each half. Pure water weight/sweat. Best of luck!

Essentially, it's like a clubhouse with tools. You pay a certain amount each month/year/etc. and you get access to the tools/classes they may have/etc.

People who don't have the space or the tools can pay to use the resources of the group. Or, you may have the tools/space, but you want to learn how to do something.

My 2 cents: Make sure that blanket is very secure/wrapped tightly. If it starts to come undone, it can end get tangled up in the back wheel/chain and cause big problems.

Also - this is why you typically see blanks attached to the top of the front fork vs. the back . . . that way, the rider can see it if it starts to get loose .
