What are your reasons for/against joining the Military? (Persuade/Dissuade me!) by ebonythunderin AskReddit

[–]mexi_stuff 0 points1 point ago

From what you described it sounds like your motivation to join the military is based on a desire to improve your career. If there is no greater moral purpose then joining will surely disappoint. There are other opportunities that can be more fulfilling and improve your career. How about going back to school, join an Americorps program or travel oversees to teach English?

Movers of Reddit: What's proper moving etiquette? by holyjawin AskReddit

[–]mexi_stuff 1 point2 points ago

I'm not a mover but I have hired movers 3 times. Unless every single item has been packed you should help pack up the last tidbits. You should also label your boxes if you haven't already. You are expected to be there to answer any questions they may have and when you arrive at the new place you should direct them where to put things. Offering them something to drink is common courtesy, do it.
