So this is probably just some sick joke, but, if you view the source of blappeture.com, at the bottom between some h3 tags is a comment:

Need Help: Converting RGB-Black to CMYK in Photoshop by sandrocketin Design

[–]majormunky 4 points5 points ago

The way that I do it is by converting the image to a custom CMYK profile, and setting black generation to maximum. This keeps the colors everywhere, but, it will convert your RGB black to just the black channel in CMYK. In PS CS3, this is done by going to the edit menu, convert to profile, and choose custom CMYK. When you choose that a new panel should open, and choose maximum from the black generation dropdown. I haven't noticed many issues by doing this.

Edit: Didn't notice you were mentioning custom cmyk profiles. This is the route I take, as I said above, but, I don't mess with GCR or UCR, although by default its set on GCR for me. Black generation is the thing you want to mess with.

[jquery] how do I pass a value to jquery without using id=? (example inside) by angrywifebeaterin webdev

[–]majormunky 0 points1 point ago

I haven't done anything like this in a while, but, you could possibly set the id to the element as "id123456", and then just strip off the "id" part to get the number in javascript.

Not sure what you mean about getting 2 elements with the same ID though, you don't have anything creating dom elements in that code.

Here's a bit higher res photo of the painting, although im pretty unhappy with my iPhone4 camera in this situation. I'll take another here in a bit with a better camera that hopefully will be good for a wallpaper.

Isn't there some way I can append more information to my original submission so this link would show up at the top and not in the comments someplace? Also, found my SLR, but, battery is dead, but, should have a much better photo soon.

Thanks for the tips! I will relay them to her once I get off work. I'm sure she would love some tips and such, as we don't really have any friends or anything who paint.

Yeah same here, is there something I can do to stop this guy from posting this nonsense?

Yeah im not really sure where this sudden talent of hers came from. The painting kit I bought her came with a DVD to explain how to paint. She painted one yesterday that was a bit more Bob Ross style, and I asked her if she had watched the DVD and she said no. I think its just from watching his show on TV.

Haha thats funny you say that, I bought her a Bob Ross painting set for her bday and that's what she's using to paint this.

In your show function, would you need to do something like:

document.getElementById("#" + divid).style.display = "block"

Wasn't able to try this out at the moment to see if it fixes it.

Always strange to see a local area mentioned here on reddit! In any case, im in CDA also and would be interested in something like this (although i'd rather have it in CDA vs spokane, such a pain in the ass that city is to drive around).

Dwarf fortress crashes on launch on OsX Lion! Does anyone know a solution? by xMopin dwarffortress

sorry, this has been archived and can no longer be voted on

dwarfort.exe(6858,0xac0412c0) malloc: *** error for object 0x1906674: pointer being freed was not allocated

*** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug

I get that repeating about 1000 times and then it crashes with this line being printed out when it does:

./df: line 5: 6858 Bus error: 10 ./dwarfort.exe

Getting married in exactly 3 months from today. This was my fortune cookie at lunch. by rwbroncoin pics

I got this same fortune 3 months before my birthday. At the time I wrote down the date I got the fortune, only realizing later that 3 months later was my bday... Pretty creepy
