I don't think we can give ourselves self-exams for prostate cancer. Can we? I think the whole deal is mostly to remind women to give themselves self-exams so it's caught early.

Hang in there man, but if it gets so bad that you're completely depressed and hate her and your life, then you need to move on regardless of what you give up because it won't be good for anyone, especially the kids. Children are a reason to really "try", but not a definite reason to stay. I'd give up all the money I have to get out of a life I absolutely hate especially if it's going to be a bad situation for people you care about, including yourself.

Some of us should. It's preference. I want to have my wife with me when I'm old and sitting in my rocking chair on the porch knowing she's been through it all with me. That's a bond you'd never get from multiple mates. Just my personal preference though. If you want a harem and can get one, by all means make yourself happy.

I play my music loud during the day sometimes too, but if a neighbor came to my house and asked me to turn it down I would. That's what keeps the police from knocking on the door.

So congressmen that are planning to vote for health care coverage for citizens are facing insurance companies threatening to run negative ads against them in their home districts. Insurance executives are afraid they won't be able to continue charging ridiculous rates or be able to deny coverage and procedures for people that need them to survive. Any industry that is profitable from killing people needs reform. Why do the democrats not drive this point home?

Schizophrenia isn't split personalities. You are confusing it with dissociative identity disorder, many people do the same. If you read the first link explaining schizophrenia you'll likely see that she has the disorder.

Point taken, but there's a common perception that the press shouldn't be touched by the courts because of their constitutional freedoms. Your "Fire!" analogy is relevant, but it's a law made to protect people from physical harm. I think if you could prove lying by the media causes physical harm there would be a better case against it.

For the record I despise blatant lying from any media outlet.

No hard feelings at all. Part of me is glad you defended the OP. Quite a few of the things you brought up is exactly what I struggled with before I blew the whistle. I'm really glad there are still people with compassion on reddit. It's something the internet tends to lack most of the time.

I know a whole lot of people posted personal stories and really had their hearts into this thread. Pointing this out obviously disappointed a lot of people. I really do wonder if I should have said anything at all now, but my thinking was that I didn't want more people fooled and sucked in.
