Eh, Super Bowl/ World Series championships don't happen every day. I can see where you're coming from, but by the same logic dictates that the city shouldn't host parades for St. Patrick's Day or Thanksgiving. Parades through the Canyon of Heroes are a part of NYC's culture and identity, which is worth a day of clean-up and inconvenience in my eyes.

Apathy may have been a part of it, but that neighborhood and NYC as a whole has a number of record stores, and there's no way around the fact that Bob is a dick. Alienating customers when you have plenty of competition is not a good look. I'm not happy that an independent business is gonna be replaced by a Starbucks, but I will not miss BB's.
