I once responded to a craigslist ad for a band and the guys have been my best friends since 2009. The band itself hasn't really gone anywhere, but they are definitely a large part of my life now.

EDIT: I've also met other people through craigslist that didn't work out, but it's really just like meeting anyone else in life: hit or miss.

Actually ToT is a good ride to get started on since it doesn't drop you the whole way down. It sort of drops you and bounces you back up in a randomized fashion. You never really get dropped for several stories straight. I'm not generally a fan of the fall-type rides (I once got on a dinky one at the LA fair and it was the worst feeling I've ever felt. I felt like my testicles tried to go inside me to hide) but Tower of Terror was enjoyable. After that, you can work up to things like Supreme Scream at Knott's.

The part about the former classmate you met up with the bar irked me. I imagine it like "Hey you're so-and-so's girl! Oh, you broke up? Well let me tell you all the times he totally cheated you, bro!" It looks like his information turned out to be true, but I would have been skeptical, since I've run into people who make up shit all the time.

I liked the part about the pepper spray getting on you too. People think that pepper spray is neat and hits the target only. Haha, if I would have been showering when the cops showed up I would have been like "Yea, I'll go, but can I finish showering first?"

No one will see this, but I called her new boyfriend and told him about how she had just had an abortion and that he needed to take care of her. I was torn up about the whole thing for a very long time. We use to work at the same place so it sucked when I had to see her. And I would often see her and the new bf walking home while I was at work because she live near the place.

If you want a good answer to the question, check out /r/leaves. It is a subreddit for people looking to quit marijuana. There you will find reasons why people are trying to quit and if you look around, a lot of them are very similar. I feel that it's important to get answers from the perspective of people who have experienced enough negative consequences to want to quit. It is interesting to read about all these negative effects that are apparently common but not usually spoken about from weed lovers even if they experience it themselves.

I want to thank you for this comment. It indirectly spurred some philosophical consideration of the things I value. The idea of "what files are worth to me" really prompted me to think about the attachment I have to all the data on my computer. I place so much importance in all the photos, music, videos, applications. I started thinking about how it would affect me if my computer suddenly went down and I lost all these things and realized I don't want to be so dependent. It's really given me some perspective and has motivated me to attempt to shed this digital baggage.
