Two quick corrections - Point 3 - Wired describes Parametric modeling incorrectly. The thing they describe is simple instancing or referencing.

Also, on Point 5 they say this is the "first 3-D modeling package that allows users to switch between solid and surface modeling." That is wrong. Every full-featured 3d modeling program offers that capability.

I agree about the roof. But it is an aesthetic I am going for with the side hiding the roof to a certain extent.

Good point about the cedar. Might be worth it to not have to paint it.

About the treated pine, I noticed last time I was at home depot, that it is touted as non-toxic now, but i'll still check it out.

I just wanted to say that this unhappiness and longing you have is healthy. Often the main motivation one gets to change is a deep dissatisfaction with your current life. So don't try to get rid of these fellings through drugs (prescription or otherwise). Get rid of these feelings by taking steps to change your life into the life you want to live. You can do it.

No, it is off the wall enough that it runs into our yard. Not much rain here though.

This is as far as possible away from the neighbors houses. My chickens aren't too noisy, but some mornings they do make noise. I isually go out and tell them to be quiet, although I doubt the neighbors can even hear. No rats where I live.

And we keep it clean enough not to smell.

Yeah, I am going to fix that next weekend. Although here in Phoenix there arent any animals I'm worried about getting at the chickens. The neighbors have cats but if a cat went in the coop, there would likely be a dead cat.

We have 4 chickens we keep in there. I wouldn't want any more chickens or it would be too small.

The coop is 4Wx6 long.
