This reference always annoys me because the Eagles are a great band, but to each their own I suppose.

Never thought I'd say this, but this post gave me a new found respect for Poison. Great stories, thanks for sharing!

On the right, games I've finished. On the left, games unstarted or in progress... what about you, /r/ps3 ? by pepe-ramolloin PS3

What do you think of Nier? The game always looked interesting, but I never had the chance to play it.

Nothing wrong with showing appreciation for things you love.

Thank you for asking. This is a question that has long desired an answer.

I'll be sure to drop Gibson a line. I'm sure I could never afford one, but would love to see them in production + it's good publicity for you guys.

Cheers Joe, and thanks for sharing the pic!

Loving the gold hardware and pick guard. They're a gorgeous compliment to the white finish. Is Gibson gonna release this baby to the public? What's the sticker price?

Also I feel the need to have a fan moment and tell you that as much as I love both of your full lengths it's Reanimate that is constantly in my running playlist. Probably the greatest collection of covers I've heard.

Thanks for making music!

I'm curious to know how you could listen to Eminem and not know who Dr. Dre is.

The thought of 12 albums of The Crunge makes me cringe (har har). I like the song OK, but more than 5 minutes of that style would be enough to drive me mad.

So glad to hear their intention is to redevelop and restore the building. Was a little worried that they wanted to demolish and rebuild when I saw them mention a new stadium.

Excellent composition! Tons of feeling, and very interesting structure. I love it.

Straight male here. I'm an unabashed Coldplay fan. I can understand the hate for them, especially given the amount of over saturation.

That said, A Rush Of Blood To The Head is an album that will stand the test of time as a fantastic album through and through. It features some really spectacular song writing. If the music style isn't your thing I understand. It's definitely not for everyone (despite their best efforts), but it really connects with a large number of people for a reason.

Here are a couple of songs guaranteed to not have been played on the radio.

This is Glass of Water from their Prospekt's March EP. Listen to the entire song, it really builds out nicely (incredible song to hear live, gave me goosebumps) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-92XB8EU3E

Also try the b-side to Clocks from back when it was released as a single. I find the guitar work interesting. Here's Crests of Waves: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmIgnrAt_rA

I was the same way, but then I discovered more of their earlier work with Mr. Bon Scott at the helm prior to his unfortunate demise. That got me into the rest of their catalog. They are a simplistic band, but they embrace and excel in that fact. To quote Angus Young, "I'm sick to death of people saying we've made 11 albums that sound exactly the same. In fact, we've made 12 albums that sound exactly the same."

I own 1 Nickelback song and 1 song only. That song is Savin' Me because I find the video to be amazing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_JQiEs32SqQ

Gungor is an absolutely phenomenal band regardless of religious affiliation. I have never seen a more talented group of musicians with such a massively diverse set of skills live. It's the second favorite show I've ever been to and I've been to a hell of a lot of astounding concerts.

Here's a good one. This groove kicks ass live: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iijC7S1pI4k

Had these for breakfast here at the Holiday Inn Express I'm staying at in Canada. Excellent pancakes, very fluffy and quick too! My boss and I were plotting a way to buy one for our office. Have to start having Flapjack Fridays.
