Yes, I understand that. I'm being sarcastic of the debate. You've gone and rebutted most points, and inferno had a pretty all encompassing rebuttal.

I don't understand the 100% support of an AHL coach who hasn't been proven in an NHL setting, over a veteran who has time to implement his physical playing style on the team this year.

Eakins is not a steadfast answer to the Leafs, so I don't get the point of getting our jimmies rustled over the prospect of losing him to the Flames. I've been to many Marlies games. They are very good for an AHL team, but I wouldn't call their breakout, defensive, offensive, penalty kill or power plays brilliant. They are all individually talented, the coaching isn't the magic source of the success, and it won't be to the Leafs.

Anyways, I know I'm preaching to the choir, you just called me out for being a sarcastic dick, so I thought I'd give some real opinion.

Brian Burke and his family have been attending the Gay Pride Parade in Toronto and contributing to the LGBT community long before he became involved with the You Can Play campaign.

To say this is all a PR stunt is ignorant at best, and like OP said, very disrespectful to the Burke family, who are still suffering im sure for the lose of Brendan.
