slept through my final exam. emailed my professor about it. got this back. by redhotfirecrotchin funny

Exactly this, you just need to prove that you can do the damn coursework, if you're cheating you're only cheating yourself. There is nothing unfair about a little bit of extra time, it's not like it's a damn contest.

You're cold, and have a small warm object (say tennis ball sized). Where should you place it for maximum warmth? by DazzaChuthin askscience

I'd say under your left armpit, it's the closest you can get to your heart and provides the most surface area and contact to your body with the added advantage of it being close to your heart, the one place blood has to flow through.

This explained a lot to me actually! I already partly understood Phasors I was just having trouble bringing everything together in my head. Thanks a lot for this!

Capacitors, resistors and DC/AC power? by kyle6513in electronics

and how does that in effect work between resistors and capacitors for AC analysis?

Hmm yes I understood most of that quite easily, the problem is when resistors are thrown into the mix what with impedance, I never understood fully how they interact in a proper fashion.

Shark Dash Review: Gameloft Can Copy Mobile Games Well Too! by pixel-freakin AndroidGaming

[–]kyle6513 1 point2 points ago

Sure, it's a copy, but it's not blatant. It seems there are other game mechanics to it. And let's face it, physics games like this have been on flash for a LONG time.

What's the most pointless, random fact you know off the top of your head? by fireball_73in AskReddit

[–]kyle6513 2 points3 points ago

The reason pigeons bob their head back and forth is due to their vision not being stereoscopic, so they bob their heads to get depth perception. This is due to their eyes being on either side of their head.

AAA Batteries to AA Batteries by Tpainter91100in electronics

[–]kyle6513 19 points20 points ago

make two pairs of the AAA batteries in parrallel then wire the two pairs into series. This will double the effective amount of amps avaliable, but it will be current limited since your components shouldn't draw too much current if they don't require it.

Can anything be harvested from an old cell phone besides the vibe motors? by sliin arduino

[–]kyle6513 1 point2 points ago

The problem with technology getting newer these days is you need to have a degree just to remove the components in one piece. I'd doubt you would get anything useful unless you managed to communicate with it via serial or something and create some sort of interface with something via text.
