In the same vien, don't spend money on fancy brewing equipment until you have fermentation control. The shiniest brewing rig can't make good beer if you can't get your fermentation controlled.

This 375ml runs $10-13.

It's a fantastic beer from, imho, the best brewery in the nation, if not the world. The head brewer invented, then nearly perfected, the double IPA and the brewery has been a leader in preaching the sour beer gospel.

They make a beer that's often rated the best beer in the world. Beer nerds nationwide love Russian River, even though they have relatively small distribution. Look at the current beerporn logo at the bottom of the page - Russian River.

Sours are very labor intensive and take a long time to condition (a year +), especially the high quality varieties that RR produces. Also, RR uses high quality barrels for the aging process which don't come cheap.

Rescue organization said they were 1/2 tabby, 1/2 russian blue. Since this pic, their eyes have started to turn green, which I understand is the right color for the breed.

How's he doing? Here's my son born premature the very same month (9/25/10) as your kid.
Edit: I read your other comments. Our stories are remarkably similar. My little guy suffered a bit of brain damage en utero so he's got cerebral palsy. That said, he's awesome and has a great sense of humor. He's about 19lbs now.
