At a minimum she should be in jail for as long as the kid. And that is only the bare minimum.

Losing battle. People without kids will judge you no matter what you say. Now its your fault you let them learn how to figure it out.

Jays fan so yes. If he gets shelled i won't regret it. If he doesn't and the Jays lose, I can at least have a fantasy victory. Hedging in sports.

Facebook shares fall 13% on second day, below IPO price by pepitkoin business

It was an earnest question. First of all I adblock almost everything. Even when I am looking for something on Google and an ad pops up, I go directly to the website mentioned in the ad rather than click on the ad. I rather save the local company ad money than give Google profit. Obviously, the average internet user is not me. And my comment did spurn some interesting conversation and even made me understand the type of ads that would work. I still don't believe they work well for everyday items or I have yet to see a good example.

One advantage Google has is that people go to Google to search for things, maybe even products/services they need. People go to FB to waste time, not really searching for anything. Google's main advantage lies in the habits of its users.

You can't spend as much money on "just" raising brand awareness as you can on getting sales while raising brand awareness as a byproduct.

Depends on the industry of course.

That's how all of us in business act. #1 rule of being an MBA is to pretend like you know what you are talking about at all times.

Get over-valued. Hire more people with money. Make them click ads. Make profit. Increase valuation further. Hire more ad-clickers. You might be onto something here.

There is always a market for ads. The real question is at what cost to the companies? When people pull ads saying they are ineffective, they don't mean nobody clicked but the conversation rate didn't warrant the CPC or CPM. I am guessing FB can lower those prices and companies would jump back in, but would that make the FB earnings drop to a point where they are no longer worth the $38/share. And isn't that what everyone is talking about here?

That is exactly the type of link someone wasting time on facebook would click on. But, would someone click on a legitimate business website like Ford or Kraft or Nike or Coke? Is it worth the biggest marketing budgets in the world to spend even 2% of their money on FB? Is their a RoI?

Can you sue a company where you have to voluntarily subscribe to and log in to? I loved wasting time on Facebook. Eventually it seemed like I didn't have enough privacy so deleted my account.
