Thanks! I was thinking it may be getting a bit too long. And I'm actually wearing a little mascara. Thank you for lifting my spirits up, kind stranger!

Hot, specially the second picture. Maybe grow the hair out and style it? Your smile is really cute!

The possibility of losing focus during discussions is real when I'm reminded of what I need to be doing for school instead, when the topic gets to technical, when the speaker isn't so dynamic and relatable.

I had a choice of going to my Theology class, my Philosophy class, doing my History report, studying for my Law midterm and finishing my thesis, but instead, I made the choice to be here and I hope it was the right one!

The theme is something along the lines of "New Rules of Beauty". Still deciding on whether I should submit an image with four faces, or just one of them. Please don't hold back on critique, I'd like to learn about how I can improve it!

I'd love to but it's just recently I've been into design. Will share when I don't think it's too amateur-looking anymore! :)

Oh sorry. This year's theme was different decades reflected in film, so the other promotional materials have film/pop culture references to them (40's noir, 80's charlie's angels). Wasn't my decision though.

*and thanks for the feedback! Will revise! :)

What are r/Atheism's thoughts on suicide? by jsscstmin atheism

Thanks for commenting. I'm quite alright, I guess it was just a thought that came to me.

I think there's really a fundamental assumption of value in life, any life in society, and I guess without that then suicide becomes something relatively mundane, like changing a shirt or swatting a fly. What I find fascinating is that this assumption does persist universally (at least in that the vast majority of individuals want to live), and right now that concept is something I'm having a hard time wrapping my brain around. It's really a question that extends to ask the fundamental value of life, and why is it that we can't just terminate it casually.
