I played hardcore once. Got into a heli. Teammate shot me in the face.
I guess I would try it again, but since it relies on teamwork so much, I don't think I would play with strangers again.

What is with the My Little Pony fascination? by HobbitBarfin AskReddit

I'm not a huge fan, but have been forced to watch the recent show on occassion. Friendship is Magic in all honestly is a very well animated show with pretty talented writing.
That being said, I don't understand the obsession that some people have for the toys, shows, characters, etc.

Where can I buy stock photos that have that retro hipster look, popular on tumblr? by vuxanovin graphic_design

The best advice I could suggest would be flickr. You can advanced for photos that are licensed under creative commons by attribution. Not exactly stock photos, but you could always contact the photographer. Hope this helps

ohhh, after seeing the collection, it makes sense why he went with red.
[–]jordinary 4 points5 points6 points 16 days ago
Personally I think so. hahaha. I think I came across as a baby in my other posts. "waaahh, i want it blue!"
Thanks for going through the trouble.
[–]jordinary 6 points7 points8 points 16 days ago
haha. I'm aware of the psychology behind the colours, I just still think blue might have been a better choice, given the subject.
did you create this cover?
[–]jordinary 2 points3 points4 points 16 days ago
Why red? I mean, people associate the movie with facebook, why not blue?
What is an exchange credit? by hayesdaysin secretsanta
[–]jordinary 4 points5 points6 points 17 days ago
We do this to try to ensure that people do not sign up for many exchanges just to receive gifts. Hopefully as more time goes on, the more effective this system will be.
I think this is really key. Eventually, they can do more extravagant exchanges that require multiple credits to avoid people signing up just to receive gifts.

I'm also curious about the personal blurb.
In my opinion, you come off sounding pretentious. Have you found this has helped though?
Good coop games by alan2500in PS3
[–]jordinary 2 points3 points4 points 18 days ago
I think those are all great suggestions. LittleBigPlanet and Portal 2 are both retail games, Scott Pilgrim is on PSN, but is still an excellent choice.
I would take a look at Co-Optimus. It'll give you a better idea of what games have split-screen co-op and stuff.

What are some good games with a co-op hoard mode? by TheAceManin PS3
[–]jordinary 2 points3 points4 points 24 days ago
I know COD might not always get the best rep, but I think it actually shines in this department.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombie mode is great fun for this, also MW3 has a hoard mode. I can't remember the name of it as I've only played it once, but it was pretty fun.

and maybe other things,
This may just be me, but there are so many "other things" that would factor into this that I would have too much to hard of a time narrowing it down.
You also need to factor in personal things like family, how much room do you need, and social life. Then there's the law, like if the goverment is stict on internet privacy and business law.

my friends and I were talking about all the potential characters this could have and Crash & Spyro are two I would love to see. PS3 has a lot of great exclusives but it'd be a real nostalgic kick to see them bring back some other golden oldies.

Whats a good computer for Graphic Design applications? by Bigbuddhain graphic_design
[–]jordinary -3 points-2 points-1 points 1 month ago
This is only my opinion so don't take this as fact.
Personally I prefer a desktop computer when working with graphics. A laptop is great, but I just prefer having a larger screen and mobility isn't that important to me.
The standard has always been Apple products (iMacs, Mac Pro, etc.). If you don't have the budget for it, there's nothing wrong with PCs. The one thing I wouldn't skip out on though if you take the PC route is a good video card and the best monitor you can afford (I recommend the Dell's U series).
If you know anyone who's computy saavy, you could possibly look into making a hackintosh. You'll get the benefits of the OSX and it won't hurt your budget like Apple products.
Hope this helps.
