Seeing Glassjaw was the cherry on top of that Brand New ice cream.

Not that I'm aware of at all.

I'm a Brand New fan who lives just outside of NYC in NJ, has lived in Long Island, and is obsessed with them... so... I pretty much know my shit with this.

The closest thing maybe was when I saw them do a homecoming show at Nassau Coliseum. Not small at all, but with Glassjaw as an opener it was a cool fucking L.I themed night.

Such a good looking car.

What trivial act would you like to ban or make illegal? Personally, I would like to outlaw public speakers who start off by saying, "I can't hear you!" or "Let's try that again!" by danger_mcboomin AskReddit

Yes!

I live in a state where there are a lot of them. Seeing someone who has never driven around one failing at navigating it... It frustrates me.

Reddit, as a classical musician, tell me what we could do better. What is it about classical music that keeps you away from our concerts? by a12345678910in AskReddit

[–]jmn357 0 points1 point ago

Don't know if you'll get this, but I'll give it a go.

I was in my high school orchestra and loved every minute of it. Playing upright bass while doing some Wagner was great.

That said...

I think it just needs to be made more * accessible* to be people.

What would make me go to classical concerts more often?

Make them less stuffy. I don't want to necessarily get dressed up because the music I'm seeing is hundreds of years old.

Ticket prices is also a thing.

If I could go see a symphony for the same price that I pay to see a band, then it would make it easier on the wallet.

I don't want to hear movie score.

I want to hear the classics, I just don't want to have to finance my ticket and put on a suit to do it.

I knew a girl who would always do this to me, I hated it so much.

We were hooking up at the time and I'm convinced she was jealous of anyone who texted me when we were out.

There was one time I answered a text while making out with her just to piss her off.

It was worth it.

I was that guy in college, but it was in classes where I knew I was getting an A, it was a lecture with no participation, and attendance was required.

My parents have a fridge in their basement for extra storage that's 100% original. My mom's parents bought it in about 1960 and when my parents got married in the 80's they moved it to their house. It's been used daily the entire time and never been repaired.
