Tell me about it.

My buddy and I found a decked out body with all the tools you can think of, ALICE pack, DMR, revolver, the works. I take most of it and we move on to the tents where we find AKs and all that good stuff. I turn to leave a tent and I see a bandit stalking by towards my buddy whose back is turned. He takes a few shots and kills my buddy but doesn't see me, so I take him down with the revolver. Queue next 20 minutes kiting about 30 zeds away.

We didn't kill that original body so I don't know why this new bro felt the need to basically commit suicide by killing my friend with an AK and attracting everything in the city, but he did. Just glad he didn't see me.

Rocket stated the increased count was actually a bug, but he hasn't given any indication that it'll be taken out. He did say in 1.5.8 that the respawn timers on zombies would increase, because right now it's around 2-4 minutes generally.

Many people are "freedom of content" proponents, similar to free marketers, stating that there should be no mod regulation outside what is absolutely necessary, such as spam, etc. because the community can regulate itself and it will dictate what the best content is. I reject this notion because there are inherent facts about certain types of posts (such as pictures or memes) that make them more likely to receive an upvote from more people over more "higher value" content (higher value being subjective obviously).

People always say this but it never happens. Iron rule of reddit - posts that take less time to absorb get upvoted more - which leads to memification. Subreddits should be regulated to avoid this fate, in my opinion.

Speaking of dogs, rocket said he is thinking of implementing companion dogs into the game soon! Can't wait for that. It was in the PC Gamer interview I believe, but might have been the Kotaku one.

Buy an account for the purposes of leveling and selling a character. Get to desired level, and transfer account information to purchaser. Done! People won't be able to sell off individual characters, obviously, unless like WoW they enable character transfers across accounts with similar last names.

Overall, I really like his philosophy. Seems like he is staying grounded and focusing on the core principles of the mod. Makes me really confident about what is coming next!

It's fun, but honestly really hard and scary. If you get in a tight spot with either zombies or people, there is really no recourse to survive. Remember, once they start chasing you, you can rarely lose them.
