That's not what the word 'luck' means. If Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan play one and one and each wins ~50% of the time, it doesn't mean that either of them are 'lucky.' It takes incredible skill just to maintain a 50/50 probability.

Some goalkeepers save more than others, some shooters have lower percentages. It takes elite level skill and poise just to take the shot. No more luck involved than any other aspect of soccer.

I love documentaries, but 'Man on Wire' has to be the most overrated I've ever seen. It's not terrible it's just DULL, and the fact that it's on so many critics' top doc lists baffles me.
