TROPHY CASE

Without a doubt, the coolest (and most unexpected) gift I've ever received. A 1912 Victrola. Thanks grandpa! by misterquinin pics

We bought one of those many years ago. Had tons of fun with it. Now it's just the night stand that my wife piles her girl stuff and TV remote on

I'm not diminishing the significance of her loss

That's exatly what you're doing. You're joking about this family's hardship, and you joked about my sister's death. Go away FFS.

You really don't belong on this thread. A girl is missing, and people are worried. This is not an invitation to troll.

And I was serious about my sister. She was 13 years old.

Go away.

My sister was a young cute girl who disappeared. Her body was found a few days later.

So fuck you.

No I said I don't always check which subreddit a link is in before commenting.

As for my comment about downvotes, that's based on my experience with this subreddit. I've posted really good links here that meet the stated criteria, and they always are immediately bombarded by downvotes. I always end up deleting my link when I post here.

They state the rules, then punish people who follow them. Okay, maybe that does qualify as True Reddit after all.

Ah TrueReddit -- where people come for downvotes.

The very fact that anyone thinks this is the True Reddit is baffling to me. /r/circlejerk is far more deserving of the title.

There's something wrong with them. They seem to have some sort of ethnicity.

Real news sources don't use hyperbole and inflammatory language... (most of the time.)

I'm calling bullshit until it comes from a legitimate source that reports facts without fanning flames so obviously.

3 cheers to quitting a job that made my life absolute hell for 3 years, going to burn these later. by jerpsonderpsonin pic

Who said I despise it? Can't wait to retire, but it's not like it was a living hell. Just something you don't want to still be doing when you're old.

Less than five days left. I'm pumped. Need to get my neglected sailboat out of the yard and into the bay.

I've been a child protection caseworker for 25 years, and I retire this week... so I can relate.

Printed books existed nearly 600 years before Gutenberg’s Bible by camilstoenescuin history

Nobody claimed Gutenberg invented printing. He invented a type of printing press that allowed new plates to be produced without hand-carving every detail.

the point is Pat is Not telling people to break their neighbors statues - you idiot.

How could I have been so blind? When he said "take it out and break it. destroy it" I interpreted that as "take it out and break it. destroy it."
