Exactly. As you say, you can't judge whether they are or are not true christians, and I, as an atheist, cannot either. But you say that you strive to be like Jesus and as much like a true Christian as possible, which is good, but what I am saying is that you strive to be a Christian in the way that you interpreted it to be good.

Perry or Bachman both could have looked at their bibles, and read the stories of Jesus and said "huh, this is what I need to do to be a good Christian." The "good Christian" is subjective to each person, and I was saying that riley cannot denounce them as Christians simply because he doesn't think what they are doing is christ-like.
