And Jeremy Renner just made short, picky list of ladyboners.

I shall tuck him in between Ewan McGregor and JGL.

Oh good god... now I have that image in my head.

Alright Reddit! What are some of the biggest movie plot holes that you know of? by DrToonzin AskReddit

I found the whole movie to be a giant, overrated plot hole.

But the zero gravity fight scene was awesome.

If you're interested Chingu (Friend) is a great Korean movie about organized crime. It follows four childhood friends. It's a damn good movie.

All the "Lady Boners" I've been lucky enough to meet :-) by Snapdragon86in LadyBoners

I have a friend who worked in a coffee shop in L.A. for a while and JGL used to come in. She said he was the sweetest dude, they would talk about books and stuff and he always remembered her name.

Can someone recommend a book for a 10 year old? World War II or car collecting are the possible subjects. by schnookums13in books

[–]hitchcocklikedblonds 1 point2 points ago

There are these great old books called the "We Were There" books. There's one called "We Were There at the Battle of Great Britain". I remember reading it at about that age and really loving it. Library should have it.

This year for my birthday, if my friends asked me what I wanted, I said "your favorite book". Here's some of the loot. by HlynurBjornin books

[–]hitchcocklikedblonds 7 points8 points ago

Ugh. I get so sick of this argument. I hear it from my friends all the time.

I love classics. It's not pretension, it's what I dig. I've read all the Jane Austen novels multiple times, everything Dickens wrote, everything by Dumas and most of the Wilkie Collins, Ann Radcliffe and Samuel Richardson. The reason certain books get mentioned time and again is because they are AWESOME.

You're also judging these people based on ONE book, maybe this book is their favorite but they also read a ton of slightly trashy novels. Hell, in addition to classics and non-fiction I read tons of sci-fi and I read all the Sookie Stackhouse and Sandman Slim novels. But if someone asked me to give them my favorite novel, it wouldn't be a Sookie book. Sure, they're fun as hell, but they aren't my favorite.

Haha, I've been a voracious reader since I was a little kid. Whenever we would go on a trip my parents would hit the library and my dad would go through his books.

He gave me The Shining when I was ELEVEN and we were going on vacation at a resort.

Buying things in Bulk defeats the purpose of minimalism? by I_27_04in minimalism

I don't live in the U.S. anymore so I'm not sure where you would buy it in bulk there. I order online.

To those living with many partners: How do you sleep at night? by PowerToThePolyin polyamory

[–]hitchcocklikedblonds 2 points3 points ago

I don't enjoy being touched while I'm sleeping. I'm okay with a snuggle before passing out and after waking up, but when I roll over and assume, "Sleepmaster 2000" position don't.touch.me.

Sometimes it's nice to be able to sprawl out by myself. We don't have the room for two beds anymore. :( I love being close to him, I just seriously dislike being touched while sleeping.

My husband and I do this. A blanket for each.

Back when we had a bigger place we had separate beds. We generally shared one of them, but every once in a while it was nice to be like, "OY! You with the cold feet, into the other bed."

Best Shows for Knitting? by ReizbarOokami13in knitting

LOL, I think it's all about where you start. For me I had to start with the first season of the "new" ones (Christopher Eccleston) to get into it. It's totally a show that builds.

I watch Hetty Wainthrop Investigates. It's another Brit show about a lady detective. It used to air on PBS when I lived in the U.S.

I usually watch Doctor Who while knitting because my four year old loves it too.

Doctor Who, pajamas, hanging with the kid and knitting? It's the perfect Saturday night.
