Update 2: The Huffington Post is reporting Colbert’s mother is seriously ill.

My thoughts are with Colbert and his family. Hopefully his mom is able to recover from her illness.

I love the intelligence that gleams from his eyes. It's a sad thing to lose a kitty family member to cancer, but what you're doing is merciful and the right thing to do. Hulu's opening animation should give you some inspiration. Building blocks are a common association with creating form, so perhaps emphasize the 3D element and show blocks connecting to the joints of each letter.

I mostly agree. Sookie's character has gone into a direction that makes her less "special" in contrast to other characters. Everyone in Bon Temps seems to have a chip on their shoulder for some reason or another, but Sookie has this "light" that seems to make her a beacon to everyone (which is why I assume there is so much initial attraction for her). But I don't think her morals were necessarily the main thing -- it's her resilience and optimism in the face of adversity. She has that less and less.

As soon as Sookie starts wanting threesomes and being indecisive about her feelings, I started to pine for a new heroine. I love love LOVE Anna Paquin, but I really hope they fix flaw in her character for Season 5. There's nothing more frustrating than losing sympathy for a lead character.

Sookie, Bill, Eric, Pam, Jessica, and Jason are the ones really carrying the series. Some other fun ones are Terri, Franklin, Russell, and Sophie Ann, TV Spoiler

The problem is when marketers do this, they are going about it the wrong way. You don't limit content from fans to get them to "like" something. That's not how fandom works. We don't have to publicly decree our fan interest in a celebrity before we're allowed to enter the movie theater -- it's like a child's game of teasing and more effectively ruffles feathers than oiling them.

To any marketers reading this, if you are trying to create exclusive content that's just for those who like or share, make it something like a treasure hunt or competition, where you have to "unlock" these clues or puzzle pieces to find out the answer to a riddle related to the page, and then you either win a prize or get some other recognition on the page.

I don't think that this type of functionality is completely useless, I just think it's poorly implemented by a lack of creativity and lazy marketing strategies. I'll get off my soap box and play some paddle ball now.

I love how each one has its own personality in the photo. The shy kitty against the wall, the eager-eyed tuxedo, the patient black cat and brown tabby sitting together near the back -- this is a cat story waiting to happen.
