Is "living in the now" bullshit? by coldhardfactsin AskReddit

[–]helium_farts 0 points1 point ago

Well, living in the past is pointless, and living in the future is impossible.

What other choice beside now is there?

How do I stay awake 16-24 hours? by bestfomertin AskReddit

[–]helium_farts 0 points1 point ago

24 hours is easy, just don't go to bed.

If you do get sleepy go for a walk.

What are five amazing, wonderful things that have happened to you today? by jstolin AskReddit

[–]helium_farts 0 points1 point ago

  1. I solved a problem with a captration I've been working on in Minecraft

  2. My cat sneezed and fell off the couch, which was quite humorous.

  3. I found a bag of skittles I had lost.

  4. Pancakes for supper.

  5. Had the nearby storms actually made it here then that would be #5

Is the end of the human race really that big of a deal? by nowuzzyin AskReddit

Well for humans it is... but for everyone else, not so much.

Wife called me an over grown child for turning on The Iron Giant. Reddit, what are some movies that you feel are timeless, regardless of what age group they were made for? by GreatGonzoin AskReddit

[–]helium_farts 1 point2 points ago

there's no such thing as being too old for a movie.

You can tell your wife that someone from the internet said that, and thus it's true.

What are some common words or phrases you've heard mispronounced or said as a different word entirely? by AK613in AskReddit

[–]helium_farts 2 points3 points ago

The rank of Colonel is pronounced "Kernel." But I refuse to pronounce it that way and instead say it the way it's spelled.

Is it legal to fire a T-Shirt cannon out of a moving vehicle? by longdrive95in AskReddit

[–]helium_farts 1 point2 points ago

I don't know, it'd probably depend on where you live. But chances are the police would take a fairly dim view on it.

What movie do you think you have rewatched the most times? by jason1287in AskReddit

[–]helium_farts 1 point2 points ago

Hard to say, but Arsenic and Old Lace, Young Frankenstein, and Die Hard would definitely be near the top of the list.

I just heard a friend pronounce "Aspie" (as in aspergers syndrome) "Ass-Pie". What is the funniest word fuck-up you have ever heard/made? by methoxetain AskReddit

I know that a lot people in the AS community get bend all of shape over "ass burgers."

But personally I think it's pretty funny.

What is the most disgusting thing you have ever eaten? by evan8er12in AskReddit

[–]helium_farts 1 point2 points ago

Pretty much any beans or peas. The taste and texture make me gag.

I tried powering though a bowl of black eyed peas once in a effort to convince myself I could eat them. Instead I threw up in the bowl.

When I was 14 I got kicked in the face by a horse. I remember sitting there on my knees hold my face on thinking "yep, this is it." But then the addrenalin hit and I realized I wasn't dead. So, with the help of my parents, I got up and we went to the ER.

I had 3 skull fractures and a shattered eye socket. 60 stitches and 3 months bedrest later I was all healed up, at least physically.

On the upside they had to scrub my skull/brain to get the dirt and horse crap off. And that was definitely a unique experience.
