True, but that still only makes two things (Spa & Belgian beer) :p. Speaking of beer, now I'm thirsty. Too bad it's only 9:15 in the morning here :p.

It's quite steep indeed, I can't imagine what it would feel like to reach the top and not really knowing what's behind it. It still amazes me each day, and I've visited it lots of times (mostly with GT1-2-3 events though). Spa, one of the few things us Belgians can be proud of.

I have a business idea for a do-it-yourself repair shop. I wanted to know what you guys think. More info inside. by Goodguyscumbagin Autos

About the theft prevention, maybe some RFID magic? Tag each tool, and have a receiver in it's container/toolbox so can automatically check if something is missing when the customer leaves. Don't know how much it would cost though.

Looking for advice on student dorm infrastructure by Raptor51in networking

I appreciate your advice! But don't you mean Charleston, SC instead of NC? It seems very beautiful on the pictures, I'll definitely add it to my to-do list, I hadn't even considered it :)

Nice! I think WA is very underrated on the tourism side (at least here). My girlfriend and I are planning to do a trip in America in two years or so. I get it that she wants to do the popular things (LA, Las Vegas, NYC, ..) but I'm trying to drag her to my places of interest (Mt Rainier, Yellowstone, Lake Michigan, New Orleans, ..). Ah well, those things aren't going anywhere (I hope) in the next 50 years or so.

Oh well, I ain't complaining. Assuming you're from the US, what state are you from?

No problems real in my area, but Belgium in general. Lots of racial tensions (Morrocan & Turk immigrants) and the fact that the country is divided in two: the southern French speaking part and the northern Dutch speaking part (Flanders, where I live). But to be honest, the only thing I can complain about at the moment is the bad state of some roads or maybe the weather ;).

A homebrewer! I've always wanted to do that myself, but I have too many stuff on my hands to do it right. Maybe when I graduate :) I'll stay with the drinking them instead of brewing at the moment ;)

Nice! I've always wanted to go to Russia, it's still on my to-do list! And despite our problems it's still pretty nice here, a metric fuckton of history in each town if you're into that. And beer.

We're in Belgium. We do actually have a kind of RIAA/MPAA, but at the moment they have their hands full illegally emailing DJ's to pay their license fees.

Not really a dorm as OP said, more seperate student housing as I explained in another thread.

It's not DSL, it's cable. It's just a consumer ISP, I have the same at home. If you just run a router/dhcp server on your side it'll still work, but with 1 public IP.

(I'm a friend of OP, and know the dorm in question)

I'm actually a friend of OP, and I know the dorm in question. It's not really a dorm, more seperate student housing operated by a third party not affiliated with the school in any way. The internet connection is just a private cable connection by a consumer ISP. No MPAA / RIAA in our country, not that bad anyway.

Very fun, indeed, a shit ton of torque at low revs. I've driven the 520d Efficient Dynamics Edition recently, 184 PS and 380 Nm (280 lbs/ft) and 41mpg (US) at mixed cycle.

UK rage! by thecake90in fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu

It's a required item on the curriculum of the high schools for anything other than let's say hairdresser studies or welder. After that in college/university you'll probably also have French aimed towards your field of education (Studying marketing? -> Marketing terminology. IT? -> IT terminology, ..). Most people in Belgium are trilingual (Dutch, French & English), even a significant amount are quadlingual (Dutch, French, English & German (our third national language besides Dutch & French)).

Well, they teach French in school beginning at age of 10, so everybody at least understands a little bit of French. But there are lots of people who don't know more than "Bonjour, je m'appelle Lolworth". If those people wanted to buy for example a plane ticket on a website in French they'd just immediately give up.
Brussels is mostly French on the surface, yes. Go a little bit more North next time! May I recommend Antwerp, Bruges and Lier? :)

No sorry. I did ask the driver (Jann Mardenborough) and he said he liked the Juke-R more, because it was much more nimble.

EDIT: The Juke-R had the first gen GT-R engine though, so with 485 PS. All the GT-R's there where new, so if I'm not mistaken they had 520 PS. I think a normal GT-R would always win, but be much less fun.

Yes, the reason I was there was as a photographer. Look here for more pictures (text is from my colleague, but it's in Dutch so it probably doesn't interest you). Somewhere between the text there are also two embedded Youtube videos. On the bottom of the page is the full gallery.

Nissan Juke-R, a Juke with the engine of a GT-R. 3.8l v6, about 480 PS. Completely ridiculous, a whole other experience than the 'normal GT-R' (much shorter wheelbase, higher point of gravity). The driver was Jan Mardenborough, winner of the GT Academy. It was on the Belgian circuit of Zolder, known from the Top Gear battle against the Germans.

Apple ships two different wall connectors that you can very easily switch, one two pronged and one three pronged?.
