Is this just a Dell thing? We got all new Dell computers for our classrooms last year and they came with keyboards and mice. Within a week, a handful of the rooms had a clip popped out. After a few months, half of the rooms (~125) were missing clips.

Tungsten Carbide isn't brittle. It's not like it's going to fall apart in your hands. If you drop it at just the right angle or put it in a vice and hit it with a hammer, it will break. However, you shouldn't be taking it off anyway, right?

I don't have any problem with Titanium. I only bought it to wear on my right hand and it was like $5. However, it just goes to show you how resistant the Tungsten is. I also prefer the weight of Tungsten.

100% agreed. I have been going to them for 3.5 years for stuff I can't do on my own. Chris Crawford is a good guy. He has a very dry personality but that's part of the charm. Don't take it the wrong way. His mechanics are very knowledgeable and have no problem showing you the problem before committing to anything.

Since I've been going there for a while and because they know I work on my own cars as much as I can, they have no problem just taking a look at a problem for me and giving me their input without throwing dollar figures at me instead.

Just make sure you go early. They're usually packed by 10am or so and they don't do appointments.

Those Youtube comments are talking about trying to get a harddrive to spin up. Ignore all of that. You're just testing to see if the PSU is working or not.

I doubt you'll find any spec that mentions a light on the motherboard.

Are there any lights or anything showing up? Unplug the power, plug the power in, then look at the motherboard. Are there any lights on? Most motherboards will have a light on when there's good power to it.

If no, you could have a bad motherboard or a bad PSU. For now, forget buying a new PSU or trying to find a spare to test with. Just grab a paperclip and bend it into a U shape. Find a green wire and a black wire on the 20 or 24 pin main power for the PSU. Here's a Youtube video that shows how to do this in case you're confused. You just want to jump a green and black wire. With the power cable plugged in, jump the wires and check to see if the PSU fan spins. If it spins, the PSU is probably still good.

If the PSU shows as good, your motherboard is likely the culprit.
