stay away from university owned complexes and the newer projects along hwy 9, and forget about being close to campus if you want cheaper digs.

got a bicycle? try the east side in the old town site. there are plenty of rents on main st. east of symmes, on woods ave in the same area. there's a nice little enclave on the carter ave dead-end just north of eufaula, also take a look at symmes, eufaula and comanche sts east of finley. all are older houses but most have been maintained well.

it looks ratty in some places, but the crime is actually going on in the student-rented complexes and over in the west side where all rich people live.

stay away from most of the cheap rents on lindsey east of 12th ave east. they are cheap for a reason.

the memory might not be associated to a molestation. kids experience all kinds of trauma, some of it imagined. whatever it is, your feeling of shame seems not be able to hold it back any longer.

ask your rl friends for help finding a therapist. when you do your intake, make it clear you're there for this one problem. if the therapist is any good at all you'll be clear about what happened and what you can do to integrate the feelings in a few weeks of sessions.
