I really hope this means we will see a documentary about 'The Malice at the Palace'. The Grantland article that came out a few months ago was incredible, and turning it into a film documentary would be just as great.

However, I believe they have said that the NBA refuses to release the video footage because of the black eye it gave the league, which is why we're reduced to Youtube videos of the actual broadcast in 240p. That probably means that ESPN can't even air any of the footage from their own broadcasts of that night. I'm sure there's some great footage out there that's never been shown, and may never be shown.
