TROPHY CASE

Reddit, what's one thing you witnessed/went through as a child but didn't understand until you got older? by ashyjakkin AskReddit

[–]faithface -1 points0 points ago

Calm down, I wasn't bitching about it- it's really not a big deal to me. I just made a comment about how spoilers are lame...which they are. Nothing more to see here. I also admitted that I was behind the times.

I'm gonna call shenanigans on that rule. You don't tell people the ends of books as a common courtesy, even though they've been out for years. Same courtesy goes for movies, IMHO.

When I was about 7, I saw two rabbits going at it. At that age, I didn't know that's what they were doing- I just saw a rabbit on top of another rabbit shaking her fiercely. My grandpa said "That means they're going to have a baby." I thought for the longest time the rabbit on top was trying to shake the baby out of the rabbit on bottom.

I might regret asking this, but Reddit break out those throwaway accounts because if you could be brutally honest with your SO what would you say? by behindthesleevein AskReddit

What is your favourite "life hack"? by Fishnubsin AskReddit

Putting a ipod/smart phone/mp3 in a vase or jar to amplify the sound. Also , if you ever lose/forget your phone charger somewhere, hotels have tons of chargers left behind my guests, never to be claimed. You can go and say you "left" yours, or just ask for one. I got one for free when I told them I left mine at home, and asked if they had any that would work for my phone.

Why aren't trans people considered mentally ill? by werfenwegin AskReddit

[–]faithface 3 points4 points ago

I took an abnormal psychology course, and from my understanding the definition of "Abnormal" is "getting in the way of daily functioning, which is generally what mental illnesses do. Being trans, doesn't get in the way of daily functioning. An illness implies something that is impairing you in some way, or something wrong with you.

You sound like my boyfriend. Your username also has his last name in it, and he farts a lot at dairy products.

I'm in a very awkward position and I know most redditors will hate me for existing, let alone saying this... But I'm being bullied at school because I'm a Christian. What can I do to cope with this? by tiredbulliedgirlin AskReddit

That really sucks- but you know what? At least you can practice your faith freely in public. In other countries and in other time periods, you could have been put in prison, publicly beaten, or even killed for practicing your faith. But hey- no lion's den for you!

What they're doing to you is terribly rude. Have you ever stood up to them- told them to stop being jerks, etc? Get mad at them, you have every right to. Don't go ballistic and punch them, but I would definitely give them my two cents, and I'd probably be loud about it. Maybe if they get embarrassed over being a jerk, they'll stop. You could always pull one of these . Pretty effective.

I contacted my Ex Boyfriend on facebook,We stopped speaking almost 2 years ago, I wanted to apologize for being an asshole. Have you ever contacted someone years later how did it go? by Celrain AskReddit

I dated a guy long distance for 3 months after briefly meeting him at a youth convention. At the end of three months, he revealed that he had pretty much been lying to me the entire time, and he wasn't who he said he was. Naturally I pretty much cut off all contact soon after (I got duped preeettyy bad.) Years later, I started talking to him again. He messaged me one day for my number, gave me a call out of the blue after not talking for like...3 or so years, and told me all about how he got married (at 19) and is now getting a divorce and shipping out to Japan with the airforce. It turns out his flight to Japan included a long layover near where I live. For the longest time, I'd wanted closure on who he ACTUALLY was, so I thought meeting up with him would be the perfect opportunity to find out what he was like in person. He was nice enough, a bit zany (talked to the waitress at dinner with some odd, exaggerated country accent), and interestingly wise. I respected him more as a person after just spending a bit of time with him. It went over well enough- the biggest deal for me was FINALLY getting the closure on my fascination with who this guy was. It was nice to just put my sad fascination to rest- I no longer had to wonder about who this person was who had completely pulled the wool over my eyes. I know just spending a few hours with him didn't mean I knew him inside and out, but I just had no idea how different he was in person. That closure was nice. And hey, he paid for dinner and didn't make any moves on me.

TL;DR: Caught up with my ex 3 years after he convinced me he was a totally different person via the internet/phone. Got closure. Feels good.

Ordered one of these thorn D20's for my boyfriend for Christmas. He loved it, and it was awesome. Just remember to order way ahead of time- takes awhile for the super awesome things to get made.

One is a Specialty shop in Olympia, WA- if you're a local I, believe its called "Gingor" or something....maybe "Jinjor"- some oddly classy variation of "Ginger". She also ordered some online from like...the UK or something. I want to say she just googled her bra size to find out who sold it. Or went on ebay, one of the two.
