Utter silence. After 10 seconds of looking around I noticed everyone was looking away from me. I walked out of the room, and sat down by myself. My mom came in and tried to explain everything, how they think, and how she thinks (since she a christian herself (thankfully not a fundie)). Later my uncle came to me and tried talking "sense" into me. The rest of the night everyone got off the subject and pretended nothing happened. However, I did feel a tension. I was happy for it because I actually made an impact.

I'm the youngest male on both sides of the family so I never get the feeling that I am being taken seriously. Twas a nice change even if the mood was negative.
