In 2012 we benefited from a sponsorship deal with shipping company DHL and extra broadcast income which resulted in quarterly profit rises by 31%. In addition we've managed to reduce our debt by 69 million pounds.

not that much wealthier ? lol ? Rooney is the only player we have who gets 200k but that's simply because he threatened us to leave hence we improved his contract. We have quite a few world class players who sit at 80-100k. In addition, Welbeck who is the main Rooney's strike partner used to sit at 15k.

But the main difference is that we keep making profit whereas City will be reporting huge losses.
