Immediately out bid at the auction house??? How is this possible?

TF2 an "underground" game, ok maybe wasn't the right word, but among my peers i felt like an out cast for playing the game.

There's a difference wacky and wtf. Tf2 is now flirting with the japan area of wtf. Hats are gimmicky, a good amount weapons need balancing, and the player based changed. I would honestly like to see valve make more maps...rather than turn community maps. I feel that they really had something with tf2 in the beginning, then after a bunch of face lifts it starts to show.

There maybe a point one day where you think "wow, they went a bit far with this update". Then from there on you may start to question, was this update necessary?

That how i feel, to the people i knew around me that i gamed with did not play tf2. They were all into gears and halo at the time. So to me it felt underground. but the point is the game has definitely changed no question there. But i feel and many would agree that some of these updates made the game into a beauty pageant.

i played this game a lot in high school back 3-4 years ago, was really fun don't get me wrong. But now compare 2008 to 2011, its a mess. When you have a number of weapons there is a threshold when eventually some weapon will be better than others. To me this point was 2 years ago. Now i feel like they are catering to the free2play-ers and kids. To me this game started out as pure underground, but then fame and fortune happens and now they are a sell out...for hats.
