A team of scientists has discovered a drug, thioridazine, successfully kills cancer stem cells in the human while avoiding the toxic side-effects of conventional cancer treatments. by nomdewebin science

I'm glad someone mentioned the cardiac effects. These are definitely potentially dose-limiting in an entire human (compared to cells in culture).

Exactly, France's motivation is all about protectionism and nothing about human health.

I just had the most amazing donut at the Googa Mooga food festival in Brooklyn today. A foie gras and cherry jelly donut from Do or Dine. Amazing.

This is why you need the Run Pee app. I never miss extra scenes anymore. Nor do I have to sit through credits in case there's an extra scene at the end (unless the credits are themselves worth watching).

Exactly. A friend of mine grew up on W 96th St right off the park when that area was terrible. Her parents bought their large 4 bedroom apartment for about $70K in the 70's. And my aunt and uncle bought their brownstone in what is now prime Park Slope for under $100K in the early 80's.

It's salami made out of prosciutto as one of the meats stuffed into the casing. It tends to be cut more coarsely than most meats used to make salami.

Why do Americans consume 80% of world's painkiller drugs? by croutonsoupin Health

Nitpicking a little, but hydrocodone is technically not an opiate, but an opioid. The only true opiates (derivates of the opium poppy) are morphine and codeine. All the other drugs that work by the same mechanism (stimulation of opioid receptors) are opioids.
