Well written. This deserves many an upvote. Capturing that feel of terror would have made the butcher encounter much better.

The same can be said for Belial. The character just suddenly knows who Belial is, and has seen through his lies-- But there is not toying with your character or anything you never have a true opportunity to be deceived. Or to sin in your conflict with Azmodan-- Your encounter with Lust? She isn't some Hot babe needing saving, she is half-spider half-woman, and not in a good way. Here's what they could have done there:

You begin chasing some woman throughout the dungeon as demons assail her. She pleas for help, and all indicators say give it to her. You then reach an area where you save her, and she asks you to help her escape this place. She leads you to a dungeon with 4+ levels, and you fight through it... Because that is what the quest indicator says. When you reach a dead end, your character begins asking her about the exit to the dungeon (she said its how she came in), and then she transforms into the spider-woman we saw before and tries to kill you, taunting you about how much she has delayed you with her feminine wiles/innocent act.

Also, fighting with Imperius would have been nice.
