the guy just hasn't gotten lucky with them in my opinion. I've lived in Alaska my entire life, I've seen northern lights that put the ones in the picture to shame. About 90% of the time they are just "meh lights" but on that rare occasion they will blow your mind. I once thought an ambulance was outside my house because all the snow was lighting up red and blue very brightly, ran out and looked up to see the most intense explosion of light in the sky i have ever seen. That was November 2004. Saw some really amazing ones another time in December of 2001, they were red and came out of a dense circle and stretched out in two directions across the sky, looked like the gates of hell opening up, it was intense. Now keep in mind in my 30 years of living here I've only seen the intense ones about 5 times.

i thought i recently read that a drop in temperature couldn't make you sick. you would have to have had contact with a virus/germ to become ill.

I live in Alaska, and i have to have my window open year round, with a fan running in it (just how i am, i get it from my dad), even if its well below zero, i just turn on my electric blanket and stay cozy while my head is exposed to the cold, i mention this because i typically don't get sick in the winter, i always seem to catch a summer bug tho.

It happened to me once when i was a wee lad (by which i mean a jr in high school).

I was at a party and my ex girlfriend and one of her friends were arguing about who had nicer boobs, i ended up "testing" them out by squeezing one in each hand at the same time (over the shirt). It was the highlight of my high school years.

the story doesn't have a happy ending tho. They made a few jokes about a threesome, i assumed they were just jokes. Turns out they were serious and i blew the opportunity. Biggest regret of my life because I've never had the opportunity arise again.

whaaaaaaaaaaaaat. why the hell do they even have that? they play commercials all the time on the radio here that go along the lines of "Alaska has no requirement for any kind of gun permit, no Alaskan needs one, so if you're a criminal and thinking about committing a crime, watch out cause there might be a loaded Alaskan near by" I've never heard of anyone gettin a permit, whats the point if they aren't required?

we don't have them at all. one thing i do know you need a permit for is a silencer tho, its just a one time thing, and one permit covers any gun and all guns you want to silence.

Not really much of a problem, it's just annoying when someone takes a popular comment from a popular thread and posts it as its own thread. I just picture them with their hands pressed together in an evil fashion going "yes, yes, upvotes here mean upvotes there. I shall make this into its own thread! bwahahahaha!"

You lose even more originality points when you take the title from the already posted comments.
