Yeah, I think someone had a very specific idea of how he/she wanted the cellar to look. The video at the bottom here shows that room in action & there doesn't seem to be a reason given for it.

Since the first moment I saw one, yes. You could have an amazing set piece moment near the core in the back. Think of that moment in the movie Contact, right before she gets dropped into the device & she's hovering over the ball of energy. Yeah, that would be pretty cool.

I walked in a couple hours after a guy dropped off a brand new leather couch. The clerk said that the guy kept coming back every hour, removing the price from the couch, trying to get the clerk to promise not to sell it & it was pissing him off. I ended up buying it for 200 dollars and it turned out to be a 2 thousand dollar couch with absolutely no defects.

I almost felt bad, but... it's really comfy.

I just started it, he just got into the house. It's very very strange, constantly feel like I'm reading it wrong. Last Exit to Brooklyn made me feel that way too. The reading is slow.
