How public are their identities, post-movie?

Interesting question.. I feel as though Hawkeye and Black Widow will be able to disappear into the shadows while the Big guys like, Hulk, Cap and Iron Man will remain in the limelight. I think Thor is super well known as well, but I think more people know who Captain America is and who TOny Stark/Iron Man are than any other Avenger. I'm interested to see how Marvel deals with their heroes and the world after Avengers.

I'm pretty sure that Natasha meant she was compromised because under Loki's influence, Barton had told Loki everything about her. He knew her weakness, and she seemed caught off guard when he started naming off specific instances.

As for her conversation with Loki, I'm pretty sure he was scaring the living shit out of her when he threatened to let Barton "kill her slowly and intimately". But I do think that most of it was manipulation on her part to keep Loki talking long enough to let her in on his plan.

Not sure if that helped. I frakking hope Whedon writes a Black Widow movie so we can learn more about her past and how she went from a Russian spy to an agent of SHIELD.

I was just about to edit my answer but I just skimmed her wiki page and it says she has some sort of enhanced biotechnology in here. This technology makes her resistant to age and heals her above the average human rate.

So even though she has some help, it's nothing close to the stuff Cap had done to him.

I don't believe she was genetically altered.. She was just trained to be a bamf from a young age, and ScarJo says in an interview that this training was probably done against her will. Her and Hawkeye both don't have any 'superpower' but they are awesome at certain things such as hand to hand combat or archery skills.
