It is obviously racist from our point of view but what you seem to be missing is that they don't actually realize it's racist. Which is why it's ignorance rather than pure racism.

Most of these people don't think any differently about someone who's not the same color i.e. they aren't actually racist. They just don't realize that calling someone a 'black' or 'chinky' is offensive.

Having grown up in the middle east comments like this are extremely common.

You do need to remember that they don't have the same feelings towards political correctness as people living in western countries do. In some instances it can actually be a good thing but a lot of the time it is just ignorance.

This could potentially be really useful. I spent hours last week looking for a place to go on a date but couldn't find anything.

First up I'm not sure your map needs to take up that much of the screen?

Second, whilst the short description is good you could add things like cost out of 5. Also 'style' i.e. hipster, posh, edgy etc etc.

Finally you could try to incorporate some kind of system where by people submit restaurants/bars/pubs and these can then be voted on by others in the community. Maybe offer some kind of incentive to write reviews? A bit like the way Zagat do....

Happy to provide feedback as you like. I'd find this really useful if it got going properly.

Wow, those stats on Vermaelen are incredible.

Not all that shocked of Ramsey but am still a big fan of his. He really needs more time. He was honestly so highly rated when we poached him ahead of Man U. I'm still pissed at Shawcross for that tackle.
