I think she is referring to the Mac section on the East side of the store. But I could be wrong.

It appears that college makes people feel the need for abortions. Interesting.

It is a must have for any well stocked Zombie Apocalypse kit.

The whole thing weighs maybe a pound. It is surprisingly light for its size. It is without a doubt a must-have for for any well stocked Zombie Apocalypse kit. IMHO

That's a good question. How would I determine that? I would be happy to try and report back.

To be honest, I don't know. I am not a thermal dynamisist so I am not clear on whether or not it is supposed to be a heat store or an insulator. The video that I saw that this build is based on recommended several insulator materials, sand, vermiculite, ash and Perlite. The guy in the video used sand and said that it was very heavy. I wanted it to be light, which it is. Only weighs about a pound in total.

I probably saw the same video. I based it off of that. No plan really needed. It was pretty obvious once I got going. I had to make 2 minor tweaks after I put it all together. The chimney was too tall at first so I had to lower it. The right height is about 1/4 inch below the top rim of the No.10 can. Also I made a larger fuel shelf using a bigger Chunky Style soup can. It held my wood better. Ha... get it... Held my wood? That shit's funny right there.

Yeah, that was my mistake. I hadn't made one before and didn't realize how easily the tin would cut with the simple snips I had. A single punch was all that was needed, just to get the snips in there. Punching all those holes was a complete waste of time.

It's actually a representation of Marcel Duchamp's work called "Fountain" from 1917. More info here: http://goo.gl/dniyy Link to image here: http://goo.gl/6HF3m

That's the heating coil in your lava lamp. It usually sits at the bottom to heat the wax in the lamp. Someone likely shook the lamp when it was in a semi-melted state, though it may have happened on it's own during the cooling period as the difference in density between the oil and the wax are very close to one another, the wax is quite sticky and may have picked up the coil and quickly cooled.

Dad's having surgery tomorrow that he likely won't survive. Taking the news LIKE A BOSS. Love you dad. by darrinmclin pics

Update: 1/11/2012 9:36pm - It's been just a few days now and things seem to be going remarkably well. The doctors are a little stunned to see my dad recover so well and with such vigor. He has been flirting with the nurses and wants to go home. He is off all systems now and just wants to be at home and get his strength back. My mom described the incision as this: It looks like someone was performing an autopsy and realized he was still alive so they sewed him back up. He has an incision that starts in the middle of his back and goes all the way around to the front of his chest and then turns up and goes to his Adam's apple. I am hoping to get some pictures of the scars. Thanks again for all the support.

UPDATE: 1/7/2011 11:43am - Well I just heard form my mother. He is well enough to have the breathing tube, ventilator and all IV's except for pain meds removed. They are calling it a miracle that he not only survived but is recovering as quickly as he is. This will be my last update for a few days. From my whole family... Thank you Redditors for your undying support. I knew I could count on your love of bad-assery and beards.
