Yup, it's pretty good. Credit goes to my girlfriend though.

No way do you know of cooler helmets than Icon's.

Second this. I hate seconding comments but this one is actually very important. Seems like their video on counter steering on youtube is down, unfortunately.

Once you start turning, apply throttle slowly and evenly throughout the turn. Keep at least the same speed, preferably increasing a little.

Well. First make 1 liter GT.

Then I'd need a tasteless a protein powder as possible. I think whey, which I have, is a bad candidate. Probably something like 20-30g/l. After that you have maltodextrine as carbs, which tastes nothing, but you might have to add some sugar to make up for the lack of tonic. Same amount. Lastly I need some essential fats. I believe sunflower oil is fairly complete, and you don't need that much.

Add a sweet liquid vitamin complex. There you have it, a nutritionally complete alcoholic Camelback ready riding drink.

Warning: Might taste like shit.

It certainly stood out from all the Mardi Gras-style masks. But I had to take it off to eat tapas and drink gin tonics, unfortunately. Should have brought a Camelback with a gin/protein/carb/tonic mix.

I haven't posted any pictures from here before, so I doubt that. But maybe someone did the same thing. It's just a glass plate with painted Leca blocks.

It was a bit like this and also this. And possibly even something like this.

Anyway, it's late and all. Orangered me tomorrow and I'll tell you more.

Edit: So a little more about the trip. I was short on time, which I regret, so I had to take the highway all the way from Denmark to Paris. I rode for about eight hours a day for two days straight. It was both scary and fun to ride with so little torque, and I had to work hard to stay in the right gear, but suddenly finding an open stretch with no traffic at all I could push my baby up to 180 km/h, which was all he could do.

First crazy experience: Riding into Paris. It was six in the afternoon, my phone with map was out of battery, my printed directions were incomprehensible. So I had to go by my memory of Google Maps. After following the nearest scooter, splitting lanes at break-neck speeds, I actually found my destination after a couple of mishaps. Scary as hell, but one week later I was an expert on the streets of Paris.

I stayed there for a month, just riding casually around the city doing my touristy and educational business, but one weekend I decided to go to Chablis, where the above pics were taken. It was a beautiful ride on twisty French country roads and beautiful vistas. And three bottles of Grand Cru wine to take home.

I had planned to go back home slower and take smaller roads, but unfortunately July 22 happened while I was visiting the D-Day beaches of Normandy – another great trip – and I had to cancel the rest of my stay to go home, as I possibly had friends involved, and I definitely had friends who had friends involved. So late July 23 I started racing back home. That was quite an experience as well. Short stops for food, fuel and sleep, riding hard but safe, really cranking the throttle as I entered Norway (figured the police had better things to do that day), and arrived in Oslo with the Rose Parade.

So that's basically the entire journey. This year I'm going to Split, Croatia, spending six days getting there, so I can chill. Then I'm sailing for a week, and then I'll probably go back to Paris. When I go home I'll go via Nurburgring, as was my plan last year.

And the 250? Held up great. Used a lot more fuel when going above 120, instead of doing 350-400 per tank, he only did 250 km. I had some trouble through Germany, caused by the idiot mechanics replacing my tires, but nothing the bike tool set couldn't fix. I was careful lubing the chain often and doing a good systems check every day. Next time I'll bring extra brake pads and a chain, but I was really impressed that the 250 could do what it did those days of hard riding. I bet he'll get a better ride when I take smaller roads to Croatia, though.

How intelligent are parrots? by Balloons_lolin askscience

I've seen a lot of these comments recently. They don't make much sense.

When questions like these come along, I would expect the experts in the field to explain that as part of the question. If a layman asks, you can't expect them to know about traits between several types of parrots, otherwise they would probably be close to answering the question themselves.

I would probably have something bigger if it didn't cost an arm and a leg to insure, but I've gone from Oslo to Paris on it and loved it. I use it quite a bit around the city and that works very well, it's nice and small for splitting.

Also, 0,25/10km rocks.

Just so little torque that you have to fight in the turns, but still enough to almost land a knee ;)

Where is it? I recently did Oslo - Ålesund - Bergen and soon going back over the mountains. Even if this country is really cold, at least we get beautiful trips when it's warm enough :)

It's really frustrating to participate in the political debate here in Norway regarding drugs, especially treatment, when you know that several European countries are so much further ahead. But you almost can't use rational arguments, even for me who is a member of a classical liberal party (although we're lightyears ahead of anyone else).

Apparently morals and feelings are more important than scientific research.
