I am taking three enterprise level open source java applications, doing source code analysis on all of them using Fortify, and then generating aspects based off of that. Once the aspects are generated, I'm weaving them into the byte code of the applications and basically intercepting any potentially malicious content and verifying it.

I'm creating a program that will generate aspects for eliminating security vulnerabilities identified by source code analyzers. For my project, it's only Java applications but I plan on expanding it to other languages as well.

I'm right now finishing up my Master's Thesis on "Eliminating SQL Injection and Cross Site Scripting Using Aspect Oriented Programming". If you're interested, in security, forensics and stuff you can look into AOP and see how you can apply it to some interesting areas.

The dumbass in my scenario was actually me.

One time I was visiting my hometown and was playing darts at a bar with some friends. It was around 1 AM and I received a frantic call from my Fiancee (who was back home) saying that someone was banging on the door. I calmed her down and told her to call the cops. I had stepped outside to take the call and when I came back in, I saw some guy and his friend erasing our score from our current game of darts.

The call had put me on edge, and when I saw the guy erasing our score, I lost my shit for some reason. I'm the last guy you'd see get in a bar fight but i guess the with me being worried about the 'ol lady I needed someone to take my frustration out on.

I yelled at these guys, told them to get the fuck out of the area where we were, and told the bouncer to sit his ass back down.

About 30 minutes later I felt bad for being a douche nozzle, apologized to the guys, and bought them all rounds.

I actually need one for a different use. I do research and we are writing AI programs to determine what activity a person is performing based on their heart rate during the activity and their brain wave activity. So we need a good heart rate monitor that can capture data in real time and then have the ability to export it.
