He's not asking for permission to use vacation time for Diablo 3, he asking for permission to use vacation time. The only reason you might say why you want to use it is because that's what people do, they talk to each other about things.

I would say for the end user, there isn't much of an argument. But as a web developer I would prefer IE wiped off the face fo the earth. They seem to do their best to support standards, but fail in such stupid ways. At least I've stopped supporting IE6, that makes me feel better. :)

And to think I still remember the days when I thought IE was the best browser out there and I recommended it to everyone, probably version 3 or 4 or something.

Good, it's supposed to use as much memory as it can. Don't worry about it, if you try and 'fix' it, you will only make it much worse, in battery life and speed.

The program that logged the SSIDs for them also kept a small log of the actual packets it saw. So if they were lucky and logged the correct packets, and they were un-encrypted packets, they might be able to piece together a plain-text password.

It was way overblown. No one even knew about or would have known about it but Google released a press release telling everyone that they did it by accident. Then everyone wanted to sue them.

P.S. They log the SSIDs to get speedier locks on Android phones, in addition to the GPS on them. All phones systems do that.
