TROPHY CASE

Body pride! 31 pictures of hot fat girls in bikinis! by misanthropegirlin TwoXChromosomes

[–]bulletd0ll 0 points1 point ago

A few of these girls I wouldn't even consider "fat" they just look bigger boned to me. I love the higher waisted ones on larger girls though, they look really cute! Reminds me of the more vintage style of the old days. However a few in there that I noticed should not be flaunting their unhealthy bodies. Obesity is becoming more and more accepted and it shouldn't be. It's great to be proud of your body, but you should also be able to recognize when you need to make a change for your own good.

Two-xers of Reddit, when did you lose your virginity? by FindingaPlacein TwoXChromosomes

[–]bulletd0ll 1 point2 points ago

The whole "waiting until marriage" thing didn't appeal to me much being an overly horny teenager who's non religious. Works great for some, but not my cup of tea. I did however wait until I was 18. I at least wanted to be in a mature enough frame of mind to know if I could handle the possible repercussions and at that time I had already graduated high school. I lost it to my boyfriend of 9 months at the time and we stayed together for nearly 3 years.

Thoughts on the "Boobs" meme currently raging like wildfire on the rest of reddit? Pretty creepy IMO... by alliallain TwoXChromosomes

[–]bulletd0ll -1 points0 points ago

It'll become old news in a day or two. Besides, you don't put boobs on display like that and expect men not to look. Sorry, but they do. They're men. Most of us women look too, either because we're disgusted or intrigued. Either way, people look. So it really must not bother her.

I drove through Tennessee around Christmas time. Thought it was beautiful and kept commenting how I would love to live there. That dream is officially shattered and now I'm all itchy.

My boyfriend has this one. He loves it and he gets comments on it everywhere we go. It's eliminated his use for a wallet and he says the brand of case is pretty protective as well.

Girls, perhaps this is a stupid question but have you noticed when you changed your hair color, that different types of guys hit on you? Here's the thing... by Blondeonblonde20in TwoXChromosomes

[–]bulletd0ll 1 point2 points ago

I actually agree with you completely. I'm a natural blonde and started dying my hair when I was 20. I've been brunette, red, reddish brown, and blonde with brown underneath and the one thing I've always commonly noticed is the stereotypes really do play a role in your every day life. When I was a brunette people took me seriously more often and valued my opinions more. When I was a redhead people would joke about my firey personality, now that I'm back to the blonde I get the "dumb blonde" stereotype a lot. Who I am as a person never changed, but different hair colors seemed to make people notice difference aspects of my personality or view me differently.

Killing zombies on Xbox and a beer usually does it to me. That or blasting some music and looking at funny things online.

So I went on a job interview today. by autumnusin TwoXChromosomes

[–]bulletd0ll 0 points1 point ago

Yeah they called and left a voicemail offering it to me. I never returned the call. I seriously considered walking out but I sat there and stayed polite because I was so desperate for work. After I left and got to thinking I realized how completely fucked up it was and wished I had walked out.

How to be a Prince - How Disney movies influence boys and men by Liberationdemonologyin TwoXChromosomes

[–]bulletd0ll 3 points4 points ago

Can we not just leave Disney movies alone and let kids enjoy them? Most of these movies were made in a different time when society was different. Does that mean we shouldn't let kids watch them? At 5 years old I was not picking apart every aspect of the prince and princess, and what was socially acceptable and that the princess was "weak". All I was doing was hiding under the covers when the witch in Snow White came out cause that bitch scared the crap out of me.

So I went on a job interview today. by autumnusin TwoXChromosomes

[–]bulletd0ll 11 points12 points ago

I went on a job interview about a month ago where the guy was picking apart every aspect of my resume and then asked why I moved to North Carolina (because one of the jobs on my resume is from there). I explained my ex husband is a Marine who is stationed out there. He basically told me he viewed marriage as a job and "Obviously you couldn't even hold that together." Because it's apparently my fault he was a raging alcoholic who didn't care about our marriage. Needless to say I didn't take that job.

For the tattooed ladies and the ones who enjoy things other than shopping and hair, a tactful reply to a rather ignorant article. (original article linked in letter) by NightsBeautyin TwoXChromosomes

[–]bulletd0ll 0 points1 point ago

This is written absolutely brilliantly. I currently have three tattoos and I plan to have approximately 10 before I'm done. It may be more, it may be less, we'll see what kind of inspiration comes over me throughout life that gears me towards getting another. Nothing good comes of getting a tattoo? How would she know if she's never gotten one? I love all of mine and they all have meaning to me. I feel they enhance my appearance rather than take away from it. I view my body as a canvas. Some women prefer to dress theirs up in fancy clothes, some prefer to doll it up with hair, makeup, and nails. I prefer to tell stories about myself on mine. And when I'm old, I will be just as unique as I am now. Wrinkles won't make the stories of my tattoos disappear. The ink will fade, but in my mind they will always be bright and an important piece of me.

Hair dyeing disaster by luluvegasin TwoXChromosomes

[–]bulletd0ll 0 points1 point ago

Agreed. It will damage your hair. I forgot to mention that part. I bought the Neutrogena brand hair mask. It's about $7. White-ish jar with an orange lid. It works great. You just use it once a week in the shower like you would regular conditioner. I also started using Argan oil in my hair after I shower. It's in much better condition now.

Color Oops! About $12 at places like Walgreens. Used it to go from dark reddish brown to blonde. Works like a charm!

A voice for the bad-a$$ women who chose NOT to have children. by CatchingTheWormin TwoXChromosomes

[–]bulletd0ll 1 point2 points ago

I'm almost 23. I have already been married and divorced. (Long story) The second we said "I do" people started asking about kids. We got married 5 days after my 21st birthday. That was beyond annoying. He wanted them, I wasn't ready and now I'm extremely thankful I wasn't. I've come to the decision that I don't want children at all. I'll babysit for friends without hesitation, but I like my life. My boyfriend doesn't want them either. We like the idea of being able to do what we want, when we want, and not have to worry about anyone but ourselves. I've been called selfish for this, that's fine. Then I guess I'm selfish for wanting to live my life my way and accomplish my dreams.

Have any of you kept your child of an unexpected pregnancy? How did it all turn out? by Newly_pregnantin TwoXChromosomes

[–]bulletd0ll 6 points7 points ago

My mom got pregnant with me when she was 19, and had only been with my dad for 3 months. They had known each other since they were teens but despised each other until my dad came back from the Marine Corps and apparently wasn't such a douchebag anymore. She told him and he responded with "Cool, wanna go get a burger?" They got married when I was 4, had my brother a year later, and have been happily married ever since. I'm almost 23 now.

TwoX, let's talk about this "fat tax" I've heard so much about today. by Karrmahin TwoXChromosomes

[–]bulletd0ll 1 point2 points ago

The tax is ridiculous in the sense that if they're going to raise taxes on unhealthy foods by 20% then they should lower taxes on healthy foods by the same. I'm only 105lbs, but when you're in your early 20s and on a budget, or any age and on a budget, it's a lot easier to go for the unhealthy stuff because it's cheaper than most healthy options. I might not be overweight, but I know for a fact I'm not as healthy as I could be due to my eating habits.

Vice Period Photoshoot- This is so incredibly weird. by sparkle_tangerinein TwoXChromosomes

[–]bulletd0ll 5 points6 points ago

I only find a few things awkward about these photos.

1- Would you not notice blood dripping down or leakage? Cause I sure would. At which point I would go fix the crime scene in my pants.

2- The girl sitting at the table in a skirt with her legs open. Period or not, it's tacky.

3- The girl throwing the tampon in the trash must not have a dog. I always flush those things or he WILL find them.

I don't think it's weird because periods are "taboo". I think it's weird because it doesn't make much sense. Maybe I'm missing the whole "artistic" aspect though.

My little brother couldn't stop laughing while our parents were taking pictures on his birthday...wound up with a very awkward looking one followed by an appropriate reaction :) by omgwtFANTASTICin TwoXChromosomes

I think this is cute! In an awkwardly funny way? haha. TwoX has become all too serious and uptight about every little thing. People could use a smile around here. :)
