Yes, I understand I know that a lot of people in the "west" seem to automatically feel that their way of life is best and what everyone else should aspire to how we live.

This is personally something I have never understood, I respect every culture and understand that everyone lives their own way. There is nothing that makes one way better than another, different does not translate to superior or inferior.

And I can see what you mean by just watching this video alone

I don't think he was saying that in a derogatory way, If you check out this guy's channel he has a lot of videos about "group think" in Japanese culture

I have watched this channel for over a year, the guy who makes the videos is an Australian who moved to Japan some time ago and makes all these awesome videos about Japan

I don't think that he sees western culture as superior in any way, he just explains what Japanese culture is like

I'm not saying that North Korea is great or anything, yes they have been belligerent, they did start the war and they do treat their own people terribly...

But you cant ignore the fact that The US has killed many many civilans around the world throughout the 20th and 21st century. I think people need to understand that before they dismis other countries' fear as unfounded.

Well, if you look at what the US has done in Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan recently The North Koreans might not be too far off on this one.

Just look at this, a quick google search will bring up many cases of civilans being killed by the US.

I know it can be hard to immagine but if you were living in a country America considers to be an "enemy" you would probably be very scared and for good reason.
