I disagree (and so did Belichick and Caughlin). Brady was going to get the ball back, either with ~1 min down by 4 & 1 TO, or with ~0:20 down by 1 with no TO. The second scenario is clearly preferable. Also, apparently they were clearly instructed to NOT score by the coaching staff.

You can generally find a [wine fridge on Craigslist](http://boston.craigslist.org/nwb/app/2824464339.html) for ~$50. Unless you have a true "cellar" with the right conditions, this is an ideal way to know that they are being stored in perfect conditions.

The idea behind a cellar (beer, wine, or root) is not to have great fluctuation of temp and/or humidity over a short period of time. Obviously, over the course of a year, you would expect some range, perhaps as much as 15-20 degrees unless it is well underground or professionally insulated and temp controlled. I have a true cellar as well and it drops as low as 42 in winter and as high as 62 in summer, but rarely more than 5-7 or so degrees in a day, particularly if I'm not in there poking around.

Yes, viable arguments. The biggest being that steady is FAR more important than an exact "ideal" temp. I do think, however, that the warmer=faster argument is questionable. If it were really the case, we'd all be aging at some higher magical temp and enjoying 10 year-old barleywines after just a few years! We are talking about chemical reactions, and temperate affects more than just how fast they happen - if affects WHAT happens. Personally, I appreciate the precision of the controlled environment at a traditional cellar temp, particularly when I have found my personal sweet spot for a beer and want to be able to hit that consistently.
