That's all true, but it still boils down to the two possible explanations. It could be that God can't make a stable universe in which child-rape is impossible, and that he can't make miracles to suspend physical laws to do so. That would mean he is not omnipotent. Or, He has decided that the free-will of child-rapists is more important than the well-being of children.

Either way he is not worthy of the worship he claims.

I am an FB friend of hers as a show of support, at the suggestion of Damon Fowler (she has a few thousand I think). I see her updates in my feed just as with any friend.

Anyway I think she is smart enough not to put anything up that would be engaging to perves.

She is legally a child. Yes she seems pretty mature when she speaks in public, but her facebook albums are full of the kind of thing that girls of that age typically have.

Edit: I have looked at her pics today in response to the interest this comment attracted. She now has over 200 pics, and they are overwhelmingly of her out and about at atheist and secular events, lunch with Richard Dawkins and of other luminaries, and they include supportive macros etc that well-wishers have sent. I don't know what her privacy settings are so I wont link any, but I would imagine that they are all public. She probably has a private FB account, or different settings for people close to her.

Id say its either changes in the lighting causing changes in the amount of shadow, or photoshopping, or just bullshit and the pics are not 2 hours apart but months or years, and there is a much slower change in the body.

In case of any doubt, by 'stop being gay' I mean to stop having sex with people of the same gender. The right to practise one's sexuality is not separable from ones sexuality.

If they believe that what their God wants is for gay people to go to hell, that doesn't actually mean they WANT that, it just means they believe it to be true.

So will they say that God is morally wrong, and condemn Him?

The US bombed them as a decisive strategic military move. It had nothing to do with religion, and wouldn't of been possible without science.

Why did the US bomb them?

My point is that it is the people who abuse this who are bad, not the concepts.

The truth is inherently better than falsehood. Those who are unable to make rational decisions are at greater risk of making bad moral and practical choices.

If we didn't have religion, we'd find another reason to kill each other.

Possibly, but it is undeniable that religion is one of the greatest causes of violence and oppression. Without cancer, something else might kill us. That's no reason to stop fighting cancer.

Actually there have been many more useful applications of nuclear fission than the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Science (or the people using science) did the useful things with it, but religion (or the people using religion) didn't.

it doesn't mean someone wants anyone else to burn in hell, even though logic would say that person would believe an atheist would end up doing so.

When I question moderate Christians about this, they usually say that they are tolerant of gays, for example, but that gays will burn in hell unless they change and stop being gay. They obviously support what their god wants, and so they do basically want gay people to burn in hell just for existing. They are just in denial of the fact.

Their may actually be no free will in neurological, or physics terms. It does suck a bit, but as we have the impression of free will, it doesn't seem appropriate to sit back and do nothing with it.

Cold and dark and radiation and all those things don't suck in themselves, but only because they can harm consciousness. Why can't we turn the pain caused by cold off, or warm ourselves magically, or hibernate, or teleport somewhere warmer? Why must we die in pain if we get too cold? God seems to have chosen that, if he made physics.

Put it this way, is God unable or unwilling to prevent child-rape?
Try and answer that and see where it leads.
