Just common law of basically keeping the listener tuned to that station to get advertisers. The songs are just to fill the space in between advertisement. Advertisement pays for the station and the people. If they play a bunch of random songs, it's not going to get the same amount of people as if they play the current Hits. When you play the hits, people want to keep coming back to your station. And at any given time if you tune it to a certain station, you should get as they say "your favorite song" within 3 minutes. Since we all have ADD according to them, they do not feel the need to cycle other songs in and out. .... i'm rambling.... off to bed.

"Awesome, bring him along...." If you build up enough off a connection and invite her out, most likely she wont bring him. This has worked four times for me. I had one time where she brought her boyfriend, ended up becoming good friends with them and well they got me another date with a very stunning girl.

Besides, if you show you're not afraid that she has a boyfriend, then it shows you got a certain something something that she doesn't know how to explain. And I read somewhere that most of the time it's just a test anyways. I think it was in Mysteries book.

I'd be interested in seeing who uses smoke. I've seen trailers for it and it looks bad ass. But honestly, $3,000+ for the software alone. That's a pretty penny. Perhaps they use it in movies, but I know the TV world, they use either AVID or Adobe.

On the pro level of things, I worked at a tv studio for a bit and we only cut in Avid(media composer). Mainly because we could use a lot of hardware to render things out which wasn't previously available in an easy way. So if you're wanting to go full pro with your work and work well with what they pretty much cut everything on, then I would learn media composer.

Now I didn't say EVERYTHING was cut on Avid.

Like what happened with the music recording world, Avid has slipped a bit with protools over logic and media composer over lets say FCP & Premier.

I like Premier. I think for a low down, quick cuts and giving you more interesting tools, it is a better option. If i were to start my own studio or project from scratch, taking what I know about MC and premier, I think I would build a setup around premier. Mainly because the whole sex appeal for me was the avid servers we had to render out our edits really quickly in time for the morning show. Take that away and creatively it's as interesting to me as a brick.

Sadly, FCP is dead. When people refuse to use your new release and stick with the older one, then you have real problems. I've never really loved Final Cut in the first place. The rendering problem killed my creative brain and slowed everything down to a crawl. I didn't have bad hardware at the time I was trying to use it, and I wanted desperately for it to work for me, but no dice.

As with everything, these are our opinions. And this is my own personal experience with the mentioned software.

If you're looking at getting a job for someone else, learn all you can about Media Composer and learn a bit about Premier. If you're looking at doing your own thing, Premier over MC.

That is solid advice. I have had this happen quite a few times. Mainly when it goes a bit stale probably 1 month in. It is hard to drop it, but until somebody comes up with a all the sudden peaked interest cure, it's the only thing I know to do.

You can always volunteer yourself out of commenting on threads that upset you. Everything isn't a direct question towards you. The beautiful thing about this place is the diversity of people that come to it. I don't at all agree with probably 80% of what is said in this community or /r/sex. But that's what the downvote button is for. It's not a "personal attack" thing. It's a "I don't like or agree with this."
