Ethics on reddit who cares really? If the price is the same for us and it can help someone who provides a great service for this sub reddit, i say go for it. Especially when the landing page provides information about the product like the youtube video, an item not on the iTunes landing page.

Never heard of Auria, thanks for the link mate. Not sure if you've seen this app called beatmaker2. You can even control some of your other synths like addictive and sunrizer from within beatmaker2.

Here is a list of extra drum packs you can get for Beatmaker2 for the Ipad. These can be converted to the .trg format. I was in the same position as you with regards to nanostudio, eventually i moved to beatmaker2. It has a nearly identical interface but is only sample based.

Winters at best help you stop up to 30% quicker. The reality is winters are more of a mind thing. Your driving should remain the same between the two in relation to cautiousness. No matter what you gotta play it safe cause ice is ice. Looks like southern ontario should get more rain then snow so that's a plus!

Love the instrumental and the vocal track on their own, but it seems they are meant for separate songs, maybe its the heavy reverb in the instrumental. just an opinion tho.

Listened to him alot. I found Patrick Watson expanded on his sound many years later, another upcoming talent who will likely never get as much fame as he deserves.

I agree with IDCh, after the synth solo it needs a pop. An example that kinda comes to mind is Modest Mouse - Styrofoam Boots/It's All Nice on Ice, Alright. I'm sure there are better examples, but thats what comes to mind right now. If you send me the track I could layer on some live drums if your interested. Keep up the creativity!

Great points. I find the Finshing a song part important, but also not something you can force.
For me I started with snippets. They started as two tracks, drum and the main instrument. Slowly i added bass tracks, and then other tracks to the snippets. From there I started adding a second part to the snippet. As time went on I eventually had multiple parts and finished (in my eyes) songs. The point is to finish songs when you have a solid foundation you have progressed from. The detail in your snippets from just focusing on them will be a solid foundation for when you finish the song.

Listening to other peoples music Is a big one on Soundcloud I find. I see so many people who blatantly don't listen to anyone elses music, even so bad as to comment on another persons song saying to listen to theirs. It's about creating music for the world, not lets all focus on you and your perceived talents. Make the music for yourself, not for attention.
